Council Meeting Wed 31st May 6:30pm

There is to be another Council Meeting on Wednesday the 31st of May at Eastwood Park in the building immediately to your right as you enter the park at 6:30pm.
Again many parents intend to be there to highlight the overwhelming objections to this cut.

The Council have called in the press for us to stop protesting - it must be working.

  • Why dont you just not vote for them at the next council elections? You voted them in!

  • The problem with voting them out is it is less effective this year as a large proportion of the sitting coucillors will be taking advantage of the big pay off next year for standing down from the council.

  • anonymous - do you seriously believe that the only time to try and involve yourself locally is at election time ,What you are proposing is Democracy-Lite (no calories no say- just pay up and shut up)eh?.We have a basic human right to protest and we intend to use it. It will be time at the elections to remind people of the councilors behaviour during this issue
