Surely with the rules on debating you should have a web site rather than having a Blog? The point of a Blog is to be interactive, even if people are making points that you do not like hearing.

Indeed, a web site with more functionality would be better but I simply do not have the time or resources for this. The Blogger Blogs provide a free and easy to use service. I am afraid we will all have to put up with the restrictions for the moment.
The rules are not there to stop publications of views that are not agreeable, simply to make sure everyone stays legal and the arguments remain clear.

I have relaxed the rule on sparring over a particular point. A couple of rounds of response, more if appropriate is acceptable. If things get out of control comments will stop being published as it ceases to become interesting to others. The best course to take at this stage is to submit an article on the point in question. I would greatly encourage this.
The site aims to provide a platform for all for interesting debate, cetainly not smother it.
